Coaching for High-Accountability Professionals Navigating Work, Relationships, and Life Transitions

Evidence-based coaching and psychological consulting by a PhD clinical psychologist with over 20 years of experience

You’ve built a career that demands competence, decisiveness, and resilience. You’re accustomed to being relied upon—by clients, patients, teams, or organizations. But even the most capable professionals reach points where the strategies that once worked no longer do.

For some, the challenge is sustaining a high-pressure career while maintaining meaningful relationships and a life that feels balanced and connected. For others, it’s the disorienting transition into retirement or semi-retirement—when roles, structure, and purpose are suddenly gone, and what remains feels unfamiliar.

My work is designed for professionals at exactly these crossroads.

What Makes This Different

I hold a PhD in Clinical Psychology and have been in clinical practice for over 20 years. In addition, I have spent more than 15 years coaching elite athletes and high-performing professionals. That combination allows me to work at a level that is both psychologically rigorous and practically grounded.

Many of my clients are accustomed to solving complex problems and excelling under pressure. What brings them here is rarely a lack of competence or motivation, but the recognition that the strategies that served them well professionally do not translate as effectively to their relationships, emotional well-being, or major life transitions.

This is not generic life coaching, and it is not traditional therapy. It is confidential, individualized work designed for people who value nuance, insight, and applicability—without oversimplification or performance-oriented clichés.

The focus is not on fixing or optimizing you. It is on helping you understand yourself with greater precision, expand your range of responses, and make choices that are aligned with who you are now—not who your career required you to be.

Who I Work With

I work primarily with professionals in highly demanding careers, including:

  • Physicians and medical professionals

  • Attorneys

  • Entrepreneurs and business owners

  • Executives and C-suite leaders

  • Pilots and other safety-critical professionals

  • Technology Professionals

Many clients are either:

  1. Mid-career professionals managing intense workloads while struggling with relationships, burnout, or emotional disconnection, or

  2. Professionals approaching or newly in retirement, facing a loss of structure, identity, or purpose—and finding that long-standing interpersonal patterns are no longer sustainable

While I am based in Reno, Nevada and primarily work with clients across the U.S. West Coast, I am also willing to work with English-speaking clients worldwide.

Our work is collaborative, confidential, and tailored to your specific context. Depending on your needs, we may focus on:

  • Identity, purpose, and meaning beyond professional roles

  • Navigating transitions with clarity and intention

This is not about fixing you. It’s about helping you operate with greater awareness, flexibility, and alignment—at work and at home.

You’ve spent your career solving complex problems. This work is about turning that same level of attention inward—so the next phase of your life is intentional, grounded, and genuinely fulfilling.
